  1. My gf got in a motorcycle wreck with a helmet on, it was 18x12mm brain bleed. anyone know which it would be? she broke no bone (helmet)

  2. Really nice presentation 👌 Sometimes an intracranial haemorrhage can be so discrete that we really need to search for the right finding based on the symptoms. The next day the whole thing could triple in size…
    Thanks for the video :)

  3. 3 weeks ago i had food poisoning and had diarrhea all morning then i had nausea and when i tried throw up nothing was in my stomach to go out so i threw up empty and suddely it felt like my head was filling up and it was spinning. After 15 minutes i woke up laying on the floor of my bathroom. Back of head was hurting like hell and i couldnt move my head due to pain. Appearantly i hit back of my head on the edge of bathtub when i fell. Now 3 weeks later im having this strange headache time to time and my ear ringing sometimes. Is it possible i have some type of hemorrhage? Or it is just post concussion symptoms? If i have hematoma 3 weeks is enough time to reveal some serious symptoms right?

  4. It is also possible for multiple haemorrhages to occur both outside and within the brain tissue in cases of severe head trauma and it’s also one of the main factors behind the deaths of victims who have suffered one punch attacks as multiple haemorrhages occurring simultaneously will mostly result in critical neurological damage or complete brain death. The brain crashing into the skull as a result of severe head trauma can not only cause brushing but can also result in haemorrhages occurring within the brain tissue near the point of impact with the skull internally.

  6. Lucid intervals are ONLY found in epidural or extradural bleeds. Never subdural.
Also, while it's correct that epidural bleeds are caused by trauma and skull fractures that injure the middle cerebral artery, subdural bleeds do NOT have the same causes. Subdural bleeds are chronic bleeds that occur in the bridging veins over periods of hours or days, even weeks; usually in elderly and often in alcoholics, presentig with progressively worsening confusion.

  8. Sounds good wish I could understand everything! This is for future doctors not grandmas like me lol! Do you have any suggestion to make me understand what really killed my daughter after a brain aneurysm and semi veg state for 11 months. It is bothering me, in the end she was put on ventilator for the 10th time and I was told by the doctors that it would be best to let go which I did and now I blame myself for making this decision.

  9. My grandma had a hemorrhagic stroke 9 days ago. She's in coma at a high dependency Unit NOT at an intensive care unit. Doctors say there is no chance of surviving since the second day. She didn't had surgery but medical treatment. They say everything works perfect except from the brain which has a massive hematoma. She's just in coma I don't know how long she will survive, she is 65 yo without any health problem since the stroke.

  10. so if someone was assaulted and approximately a month later started having loss of balance and a brain bleed and seizures with slight numbing in the toe what would you diagnose it as

  11. What is the supply of the blood for intracerebral haemorrhage? Is it also the cerebral arteries? If so how does that mean the difference between a subarachnoid and intracerebral haemorrhage is simply the location of the rupture and not the source of blood?

  12. I was discharged in August 2019 after being in hospital for nine whole months in total. My stroke affected my left side, and my vision and my cognition were also affected. I would not have known where to start writing this, and it’s taken a while, but I’m assured it’s all good practice and will help me. (But I do apologies for any mistakes! …spelling and grammar….etc.) They say patience is a virtue, and that may actually be more true after stroke. However, I do see improvements every day. Stay strong and just talk about how you feel. I had numerous areas of my brain that were affected – I become very emotional and I cry sometimes. I was not depressed, just a little bit ‘wazed’ off with my brain.

My journey all began back in November 2016. I had been feeling very tired for quite some time and my husband came in from work one evening to find me very drowsy and not very responsive. He called for an ambulance. Shortly after I had a seizure and then another four more on the way! I had a blood test and they found I was severally anemic, with a blood count of 23, so I needed 4 units of blood, which needed to be done very quickly as otherwise, I would not have survived. This did wonders for me and I was in hospital for around another week, then discharged with plans to do further investigations as an outpatient. After been home for around a week, I had another seizure and was taken back into the hospital. I had a few more, which led up to my first stroke on 12th December. I spent all of Christmas in hospital and was making a good recovery up until 31st December. On New Year’s Eve, I had my second stroke, which affected another area of my brain. This knocked me back, but I carried on with my recovery. I was starting to get quite down, but then my first grandchild told me about herbal remedy of one Dr Odia who was said to have cured Stroke. I was in hospital and so I had something to focus on. After a week or so I was moved home. We had to contact the Herbalist for his herbs. I was doing really well for a couple of months as I had just starting to take a couple of steps. While I was at home, I was visited by a Different Strokes volunteer as they heard I was recovering in months after taken the herbs. they where also a stroke survivor. I was inspired! So, when I was well cured, I joined the Different Strokes ‘family’ (#dsfamily). The peer support is fantastic and I am now even involved in running the Leeds Central group! I am fully cured. I survived strokes and I’m here to tell the tale! Contact Dr Odia via email ( drodiaherbalistcenter@gmail.com)

  13. Last night I had a headache and then all the sudden it was a sharp pain in my head. Then I felt shaky and dizzy I almost fainted in my girlfriend arms. The next morning I feel okay it’s just like there is something in my brain when I lay on a Specific side I can feel it. Idk what I should do.

  14. Thank you for this. Trying to understand from doctors can be so complicated. Youve helped me understand perfectly 🙏🙏thank you
